Letter from the CEO: December 2022

Dear Friends of Xceptional,

As we wrap up 2022, I would like to take a step back to reflect on the work we have
done for the past twelve months and give a glimpse to the twelve months ahead.

Our biggest accomplishment in 2022 was our acquisition of Altitude Integrations. Our
journey to find the "perfect fit" for our first acquisition was a long one, with plenty of
suspense, and ultimately a happy ending. We are so excited to be adding to our team of
smart, hard working, and service-centered folks, as well as taking on an exciting new
client base. This acquisition has given us many gifts, among them new friends and
some quality time in Boulder, Colorado. It’s been about six months since the acquisition
closed, and come the first of the year Altitude Integrations will be completely integrated
with Xceptional.

What does this mean?

This means our two companies will be operating as one, officially. Service ticket
requests from both Colorado and California clients will be worked on via one platform,
all email communication will be coming from our Xceptional domain, and all phone calls
will be answered with our Xceptional greeting. We will continue to work collectively
towards improving the Xceptional experience you have come to know and expect.

This year we also expanded our services portfolio by offering Compliance-as-a-Service
(CaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). Listening to our clients and paying
attention to the market is what led us to develop our CaaS offering. Our IaaS offering
came about because we delved deeper into our partnership with Zadara and recognized
the immense value our clients can receive from Zadara’s services. We are looking
forward to growing these services and more.

Here are a few things we are predicting for the year before us:

  • Continued and strengthening focus on cyber security, to address the growing volume and sophistication of cyber security threats.
  • A continuation of the mass migration to the cloud.
  • Supply chain issues will continue. Manufacturers have made great progress in returning to business as usual, but we will see long lead times for certain hardware products. Planning ahead is key.

I’m ecstatic for what is to come in 2023, and am so excited to meet the New Year with
an expanded team and outlook. We are committed to the Xceptional experience that
you have come to embrace and expect, and as always, we welcome your feedback. I
wish you, your families, and your businesses a prosperous and healthy new year!

Thank you for your continued support!
